We start the party right when we get on the cruise ship
on New Years Eve, Thursday, December 31, 2009 as we leave San Diego. We have our "Sail Away party", and a Singles Happy Hour (all before dinner). A Personal Note: Last New Years Eve, I went to the OCNYE party at the Hilton. It lasted about 3 hours. I had a date. Tickets for two cost $200, taxi for the evening was about $80, Dinner for two that evening was $185. Two drinks each, (4 total at $12 per drink) for $48. For three hours of New Years Eve, I spent $513...FOR ONE EVENING of just a mediocre NYE party and evening. Everything on NYE seems to be overpriced and the next day I felt poorer and a little bit "taken"

For just $450 (much less than I paid for just a 3 hour NYE evening) plus taxes and fees, you will have a 5 day/4 night New Years Eve WEEKEND, an all inclusive New Years Eve parties at 12 bars on the "Fun Ship" Carnival Elation. PLUS! 3 MORE days of College Bowl Game Parties, Cabo San Lucas parties, pool parties plus great shows, gambling and singles to meet ALL weekend, not just one overpriced evening! Its a New Years Eve cruise, so cabins are limited. We were able to reserved a very limited amount of cabins at this very low price. To hold this price and a cabin (prices will probably go up) we need a $150 deposit. Final payment is due October 15, 2009. If prices go down before October 15, 2009, you will be charged the lower price. If prices go up, you will be guaranteed the currently quoted low group prices (as long as we still have our limited pre-reserved cabins available, so don't delay) You may cancel without penalty BEFORE October 15, 2009. AFTER October 15th, full payment is required to book a cabin and Carnival cruise pro-rated cancellation policy will be in effect. Trip insurance is available for $79.00 inside cabin and $95 outside cabin.
