Electric Bike Safari

This location is shown only to members

Hi All,

I am very excited to tell you about this brand new event.

You may have heard about electric bikes. You may have actually seen one. Most of you probably haven't ridden one.

Here is your opportunity to ride an electric bike first hand!

They are fun! The ones we will be using are "Comfort Beach Cruisers." They can go up to 20 mph and can go about 20 miles on a single battery charge. If going up the steep hills or fighting head winds are what makes bicycle riding not as much fun for you, this is the answer you have been looking for! An electric bike conquers some of the toughest hills and strongest headwinds. Plus you can go much faster than you probably currently bicycle AND much farther. They are "street legal" and bike path legal and you do not need any drivers or motorcycle license to operate.

We have arranged with ElectricBikeMarketplace.com and the manufacturer, Pedego Electric Bikes to offer a 20 person Electric Bike Safari on Saturday, May 16th.

We will meet in Irvine by the Old Tustin Air Base at 10:30a. After a brief operations explanation of the bikes and a safety check, we will ride out on the Irvine bike trails and go a total of about a 20 mile ride (If that sounds much longer than you are use to biking, don't worry. As long as you are comfortable on a bike and are a beginner or intermediate rider, you WILL be able to handle it. Remember you will have "extra help!") We will take the mountains to the ocean bike trail from Irvine to the Newport Dunes. There we will take a break and we will supply a delicious picnic group lunch to enjoy together. Then, it is back on the bikes to head on back to Irvine. We should be back about 2:30p.

The price is all inclusive of $20 per person. This includes the use of the electric bike, our guides and a delicious picnic lunch. So we don't have to carry beverages for lunch and figure out everyone's taste, please have some money to purchase a beverage for your lunch at the Newport Dunes. Also a bike helmet is required, so please bring your own if you have one OR we will supply you one if you don't have one.

We have 10 men's and 10 women's bikes available. So we will have to limit this event to 10 men and 10 women.

To reserve your space, please pay with PayPal.

To see these electric bikes in action and see how much fun you are going to have, please go to ElectricBikeMarketplace.com and click on the video to give you a preview of the fun you will have on Saturday May 16th. We look forward to seeing you then.
