My friend Holly runs another Meetup group called "OC Trade a Date Singles Events" (http://www.meetup.com... )
Her events are an interesting and cute idea: "Trade a Date" are designed for ELIGIBLE singles who can attend events with an opposite sex recommendable friend who is NOT their love interest.

We will meet first at FLIGHT BISTRO and Lounge in Huntington Beach for happy hour/swappy hour (6PM sharp) before heading over to see a lighthearted play we can probably all relate to! "I love you, You're Perfect, Now Change!"
In keeping with our theme, we want you to bring an opp/sex quality, recommendable single friend. Anyone bringing a friend will share why they consider them a real "gem or jewel" and receive an extra gift for contributing to our quality singles!
We will do a mini single-mingle game and award a few prizes too. About 7:20- 7:30 we will head over to the play (at HBPL, a half-dozen blocks away) and continue the fun.
Solitaires are welcome, but we WILL limit the number of each sex as our goal is to have a fairly even balance of eligible guys and gals!
You may come to just the "swappy" (happy) hour or do both, the pre-party and the play. LIMITED # OF SPACES /TIX SO SIGN UP EARLY!

* $10. pp for "swappy hour" only - Includes appetizers (and happy hour pricing for drinks.)
* $22. for BOTH the play and the "Swappy Hour". w/ buddy being $5 off.
* So if you are coming to both with a buddy please pay $39. for both of you.

RSVPs are firm and must be pre-paid. Space and tickets must be reserved/pre-paid, so secure your buddy and please pay when RSVPing or we cannot consider you a solid RSVP. Plus ticket could possibly sell out, so lets nail this one as early as possible! Thanks!
