Boarding is at 6:00 pm and the cruise is from 6:30 – 8:30pm

NOTE: Last time it was GREAT! Beautiful 3 story Yacht, Fantastic views of Newport Harbor and great sunset. Here is the deal, the appetizers were plentiful including beef and chicken skewers, meatballs, vegetable trays, chips and my favorite, cheeseburgers! I was expecting it to be very light food and eat dinner afterwards BUT I was very surprised and basically had dinner there on the cruise.

Also a special note to the guys of the group, last time we had many more women than guys for this event. Why? It a beautiful boat, romantic summer night sunset. The ladies looked great in their summer outfits. That's why women like to go on this event. So a not so subtle hint guys, this is a good event to go on. The women looked great, the views were fantastic, its a nice summer evening and the food was good too, all for about $20. Its a home run!

The Hornblower is unable to make reservations 5 hours before sailing (this means you have to make your reservation by 1:30 pm on Thurs. July 15th

The office is closed in the afternoon and evening, the captain stands at the ship's ramp with a paid list and checks your name off as you board the ship.......YOU CAN NOT PAY THAT EVENING!

*Onsite parking is $8, parking is limited and is granted on a first come, first serve basis. Cash only!! Sometimes there is street parking.

Some people are having problems register for our Hornblower Cruise online, below is a step-by-step description. Also, some more information about the cruise.

To register online at www.hornblower.com

1. At top of screen, click “Select a Port”, a drop-down menu appears, click Newport Beach

2. Click “Book Now” on top left corner

3. a calendar will appear, click July 15th

4. on the left side of the screen, a link “Newport Summer Sights & Sips Cruise”

5. you put # of tickets in first box and if a AAA Member discount code AAX32 in 2nd box

6. Complete Contact Info

7. Payment: complete Credit Card Info

8. Order Confirmation Page – click confirm order

You are done, your Confirmation Page has a Confirmation Number and you will receive an email with the following information:

“We hope that your Hornblower cruise will be an exciting and memorable event. Please be aware that this is a TICKETLESS reservation so be sure to keep this confirmation number as you will need it to reference your reservation. If you would like to add tickets to this reservation or be seated with someone who holds an existing reservation, please contact our customer service department at customerservice@Hornblower.com or call 1-888-HORNBLOWER (1-888-467-6256). Customer service office hours are 8am-6pm, 7 days a week.

This reservation is non-refundable.

However, with a 48 hour notice or better, we will be happy to reschedule your cruise date or issue the paid funds in the form of a gift certificate, with no penalty.

If you call within 48 hours of your cruise date, reservations are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you miss the cruise for any reason, such as traffic or any other circumstance, that is considered a no show for the cruise. We do not compensate guests who do not show for the cruise and your funds cannot be refunded or used again on another Hornblower event.

Please be advised that due to tighter security at our ports, the Coast Guard may require a photo identification upon boarding. Please be sure to bring photo identification. All of our Hornblower cruises are casual dress.”
